Abstract: Information is presented about the deceased Nikolai Nikolayevich Zalogin, Ph.D., Leading Researcher in Laboratory of Physical Fundamentals of Nanocomposite Materials for Information Technology, Department of Physical Fundamentals of Nanoelectronics, Kotelnikov Institute of Radioengineering and Electronics of Russian Academy of Sciences, a well-known specialist in the field of generation of microwave noise oscillations, their application in electronic warfare, radar and processing of broadband signals based on dynamic chaos, Laureate of the USSR State Prize and two awards of the USSR Council of Ministers: basic biographical data, training at the Moscow Physical and Technical Institute, work in the Kotelnikov IRE (Moscow), PhD thesis defense, authorship of more than 120 scientific papers in scientific journals and one monograph, participation in Russian and international conferences and seminars, participation in field work and testing of developed systems.
