Abstract. Presented the information about the deceased Dr Sci Phys&Math, Professor Vyacheslav E. Kunitsyn, Head of the Department of Geophysics and the Chair of Atmospheric Physics of the Faculty of Physics of Moscow State Lomonosov University: basic biographical data, research interests, educational and organizational activities, the management of international projects and sections at international conferences, membership of scholars and dissertation councils, national geophysical organizations, editorial boards of scientific journals, national academies, state and departmental awards and prizes.
