The paper discusses the theoretical background and successful experiments on rapid deactivation of aqueous solutions of a number of long-lived isotopes reactor based on nuclear reactions convert them into stable nuclei in cells containing growing microbiological cultures. The conditions for optimization of the process deactivation. It was found that in the most optimal case, rate of decrease in the activity 35 times accelerated relative to the natural decay. The physical and biological causes of this process.
Keywords: reactor isotopes, deactivation, nuclear reactions, stable nuclei, microbiological cultures.
