COMPUTER SIMULATION OF NORMAL AND PATHOLOGICAL PROCESSES IN MEDICAL PRACTICE

The article presents a numerical simulation of biomechanical processes in medical practice is based on models of continuum mechanics and numerical methods for solving the corresponding systems of differential equations in partial derivatives. Topics covered by the article include formulation of the mathematical model on the basis of equations of deformable body mechanics, choice of appropriate difference schemes and their extension to triangular meshes, correct introduction of boundary conditions and solution of contact problems with several interacting bodies of arbitrary shape.
