NOTES ON THE ORIGIN AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE NANO CONCEPT

In these Notes, author’s view is presented of some moments in the history of the emergence and development of the nanoscience and nanotechnology concept. Point of view is founded that this concept commenced with the discovery and investigation of the novel forms of carbon. Application of the palladium/nanocarbon complexes as catalysts of several organic reactions is described.
